Reduce distraction with social media
I have recently posted this tip on Reddit and I was very happy with the response I got. So I am updating it and reposting here. These are very simple tips and which you can do it in a matter of minutes and they are free and easy :) I was so addicted to social media / news, that I was becoming very lazy and under productive. I was having this thought lingering the back of my mind. I came up with a strategy, which I feel was fair - not 100% success (later I will what I did to achieve my goal). But I was happy with the result. One fine day, I decided to remove all the social / news apps from my device. and slowly started using the browser based versions! This has many advantages few are - no unlimited scrolling, less frequent updates and notifications, no fancy animations. I did other change which has pushed the success rate to the excellent was I have switched of notifications for these apps.
